Ok Ko Lets Be Heroes Ko Grown Up Fan Art
And so glad it got light-green lit!
I've been post-obit this pilot since they released the Mobil game concluding year and I played the crap out of that as well as watching the pilot and promotional shorts over and over once more to tell CN how much people wanted this equally a full series. And to hear six episodes got released a month and a half early filled me upwards with and then much joy. After watching those episodes. I can say that OK KO............Is part of a consummate breakfast....or as Tony the tiger would say "GREAT!". Information technology pays inspiration to anime, video games, comic books. I like how information technology'south kinda of like an episodic prove that has potential to take a on going narrative that delves into the lore of the earth and the origins of the characters and after watching the few first episodes, they foreshadow that. This show can go places, with shows like Run a risk time and Gumball wrapping up their product and those ever nasty Teen Titans looking to cause trouble for CN's schedule, too as upcoming shows like Uni-kitty and Apple and Onion which could go both means, I hope that KO tin can large a large hit for the Network and the odds of that are looking good. And Ian Jones really deserves this, he is a really talented cartoonist and author. And it just goes to show, if your pilot fails one time, it doesn't mean it won't go dark-green lite at all.

probably the most underrated cartoon network show
I absolutely LOVED Ok K. O: Permit'due south be heroes, the artstyle and animation are fantastic, comedy is height notch, the visual gags actually made me laugh out loud all of the time, the characters are great and much deeper then it might wait like.
Sadly Ok K. O didn't get the recognition information technology deserved, which acquired it to exist cancelled and to wrap up a little sooner than i'd like it to, that is the only reason why it doesn't become a 10/10, even with that early stop they've managed bring solid closure to the serial with a last episode that made me cry tears of joy.

One of the improve shows of Cartoon Network today
Honestly I hope this show doesn't go cancelled whatsoever time soon because Drawing Network dosen't seem to be doing very well ever since Regular Show got canceled and seem to exist only wanting to practice constant marathons of Teen Titans Go! in the United states drawing network.
Although the blitheness and grapheme designs demand improving but it'southward not that bad.
naomi Mbugua/Spacething7474 your nothing only the worst excuse for troll and person who has a bad gustatory modality in shows. Honestly? "It's trying to be the next Steven Universe?", "I hope it gets cancelled soon because it stinks" I tin't believe there is person like you on this site who tin can handle garbage like Breadwinners, Teen Titans Go! and The problem solverz? Truly I am a shamed and disappointed.
Anyways if you haven't seen this show yet i would definitely recomand it.

A Nostalgic Smash(Literally!)
70s disco-esque theme vocal. 80s influenced colors and visuals. Dragon Ball Z esque action/humor! What more can yous say well-nigh OK KO?
Ian Jones-Quarterley'southward lovechild of 90s media nostalgia is a welcome antidote confronting Drawing Network's otherwise abysmal programming. Consisting of the exploits of the naive nevertheless eager KO(knock-out to the layman) and his more contemptuous teenage companions, Radicles, the picolo inspired alien show-off and Enid, the Shantae inspired slacker.
All three work for the overbearing commandeering shirtless Mr. Gar at Lakewood Plaza Turbo. Rounding out this offbeat group of heroes is KO's wrestler mom, Carol, who works as the side by side door judo teacher nearby. The serial keeps at a very quick pace right from the go- become, anime-expressions galore, and wacky out-of-nowhere visuals. It's not exactly clear what type of world the characters inhabit, merely it's chief premise should be relatable to anyone. Information technology's amazing how they get and then much out of these rather simplistic character designs. Information technology isn't exactly Adventure Time influenced, it'due south more Steven Universe/Bee and Puppycat influenced, yet has as much of a vehement sadistic bite equally the archetype Powerpuff Girls. Another role that I like most information technology is that it's graphic symbol outlines resemble the roughness of a pencil, as if they were really drawn.
If yous don't actually play classic 16 chip video games, or 1990s Japanese anime, information technology's likely a lot of these references will become over your caput. But if yous want a kicking-barrel show on Cartoon Network, look no further than OK KO: Allow'south be Heroes.

A Savior Cartoon for Me
Ever since when it got piloted and shown back in 2013 i have but fallen in dear with this show. It is funny, clever and shows proficient life lessons. It'due south like when i try and think of something bad about this evidence, i just think of 3 good things about. The simply downgrade i tin can think of is that the animation is a trivial weak, just it dosen't really matter. It reminds me of playing retro games and playing with trading cards. Only anyways the show is swell. And the stories! I am glad to say after a 6 month hiatus OK KO is finally back every bit of May 2019! And i am so excited to run into more KO. And then in decision this show is really good and i reccomend information technology. Stories: A, Animation: B+, Plot(south): A-, Character Evolution: A+. Overall Score: A/96%

I love this show
I love OK Thousand. O. Information technology's a fun and enjoyable series I experience like any one of whatever age can watch. I honey that platonic friends in the prove can STAY platonic friends in the show, unlike another shows I know (Danny Phantom, Steven Universe and Star vs. The forces of evil, I'm looking at you). All the characters have their own personality, and the show heavily references game culture and coding culture without seeming pretentious.
This show is also able to exist rewatched without spoiling the fun. One of the best shows I've seen seen since 2012 and I'one thousand so sorry it got cancelled.

A truly funny and heartwarming show
This testify is ane you should defiantly be keeping your center on. The characters are amazing for example, KO is supposed to be a pure child who is always happy and you can encounter that with his spoken communication and expressions. Speaking of expressions, the blitheness is astonishing despite it not seeming and then. A proficient example of this is the start of the episode "The Perfect Meal" where the animation is hilarious and the flavor one finale where the animation is perfect for fighting. Only, what's a good fight without music and the music is good, the intro is great I accept to say, short, simple, and sweet. Wrapping this up, I highly suggest watching this with information technology'southward pop civilisation references that are just there and bang-up plot, I give this a ix/10.

I think this show is really great. Maybe it's because of Teen Titans Get, just it'due south neat. The colors are vibrant. The music has an 80s vibe or something. It even has a plot, which Teen Titans Go does not. Anyways, lookout this show because it's really good. Probably my 2nd favorite drawing Steven Universe is my outset).

Refreshing and Unique
The mode is and so simple merely so fluid, and it retains the same goofy humor as Steven Universe and Gamble Time, without ever trying to be more than than information technology is; a giddy, cute and fun cartoon most superheroes!
It's a really peachy cartoon that I just can't get plenty of. It teaches life lessons and never gets political to the bespeak of being obnoxious (meet; Steven Universe, Clarence...urgh), and it's beautifully colored and animated.
The fight scenes are action packed and intense, and the phonation acting is phenomenal!! I love that Ian gets to vox 1 of the principal characters, and I absolutely love Grand.O. and his mother'southward vocalism actresses.
So much talent and middle in this evidence, and it'due south fantastic for kids of all ages, especially those who accept a love for superheroes!! I cannot recommend it enough!

When Steven Universe meets Dragon Ball Z, this happens.
Alert: Spoilers
"OK One thousand.O.! Let's Be Heroes" is a cartoon created by Ian Jones-Quartey, who also worked on Pendleton Ward's Gamble Time and Rebecca Sugar's Steven Universe. It started out as "Lakewood Plaza Turbo", a pilot that was released along with the Steven Universe pilot in 2013.
The show revolves around a child named K.O., whose goal in life is to exist the ultimate hero. With his friends Enid and Radicles (the latter of which is who an adult Steven Universe would look like if he were blue, an alien, and ripped), they all piece of work at Gar's grocery store, endemic past the legendary Mr. Gar. K.O.'south mother Carol (née Silverspark) is a quondam superhero turned fight instructor.
The show'due south principal villain is Lord Boxman, who sometimes dispatches some of his henchmen to fight for him (hint: his henchmen come up down from the sky in boxes). Sometimes, the team fights (and messes with) Boxman himself.
In one episode, K.O. befriends Dendy, who should remind some Steven Universe fans of Peridot. She and Peridot have close to the aforementioned vox and they're both green nerds. It's also a prime shipping opportunity.
Where it reminds me of Dragon Ball Z is considering of the anime-looking characters. I retrieve K.O. could be compared to young Goku in some areas.
My favorite episode of the series equally of this writing is "Yous Have To Care", where Enid catches upward with her old rival and one-time "friend", Elodie. There's enough of action and a emotional finish. You'll have to watch the episode for yourself to know what I'm talking well-nigh.
I think "OK K.O." is a fine drawing. I'g giving it a vii because it can be corny and juvenile at times, but not to the point where it'south unwatchable for immature adults. Kids will love this, obviously, but I recollect it volition be a good successor to Steven Universe when it goes off the air. It'south not for everyone, simply give it a chance. I call back you lot'll like it.

Not quite there yet.
The prove has a lot of potential. Merely sadly that potential hasn't been fully utilized yet. Basically the testify follows a boy named K.O. afterward he gets a job at Lakewood Plaza Turbo and he begins to go on crazy adventures. I'll begin with the characters. I like Thou.O. in all. He's a well intentioned kid and he'southward hard to detest. The problem is, he'southward not a very complex or interesting character. To exist honest, K.O.'s more obliviously happy than modern day SpongeBob. And that'south not a bad affair, just information technology doesn't make a very interesting or complex grapheme. And Rad's merely a narcissist. The simply one of the main characters I plant interesting was Enid.
In my opinion, some of the best Drawing Network shows have elements that tin appeal to kids and adults. The but thing about the show that tin can appeal to adults is all the references to retro video games. The testify is to sappy for teenagers and a lot of the jokes many adults will observe either annoying or stupid. With that said, there were a few jokes that left me in stitches. The shows has a lot of low forehead jokes that really get on my nerves though.
For the episodes though, the average episode for the testify isn't bad. Just they occasionally have an above average episode and a below average episode. When the bear witness is at its best, it has a lot of great character development and enjoyable stories. But at its worst, the show can be very annoying and feel like watching a bunch of hyperactive kids run effectually a room screaming. OK well maybe not that bad.
Though in the end, the shows principal problem is that it can often come off as annoying and there needs to be more than grapheme evolution. Though the show is only in it'southward first season. Once it works out some of the more annoying factors and truly establishes its identity, I'thou confident it will get one of Cartoon Network best shows. But until then, I can only say that the show isn't quite at that place yet.

A really practiced edition
I used to like Steven Universe, but I eventually got bored of it. This feels a lot like that show...simply improve.
This show isn't gut bustingly hilarious, only the prissy comedy combined with the OK story and great blitheness makes it an overall nifty prove. I have simply seen one episode of this show but I can tell it will succeed

Terrible Show
OK KO isn't that at all it is one of the worst shows ever made. The art is ugly, the characters are uninteresting, and the "humor" is weak. I experience like I am watching SpongeBob simply without the sense of humor. KO is similar to SpongeBob he is upbeat and works in the service industry, Enid is like Squidward just very toned down, It's basically a terrible Teen Titans Get knock off if I want to picket a testify about superheroes that barely fight crime I'll lookout the funny one. The Animation is horrible and the characters are constantly off model. Off model poses should be used on occasion. And the biggest problem with the show is what is the point of being a superhero if everyone is super they can have intendance of themselves. I detest that the characters are at the stupid strip mall all the time you can brand the characters go anywhere in the globe yet you choose to get out them in a strip mall. Almost shows take a change of scenery from time to fourth dimension.

I Liked this prove only ...
I liked this show, I really did, I loved the wacky pseudo seriousness of information technology, the mystery around Ballad and Laserblast, how the Villains are going to defeat Point, what are the glorbs, KO's connection to them etc.
But it made a error no cartoon should make, it became political propaganda. Dirty, filthy, trashy, shameless political propaganda. No I'm non talking about the lesbian or bisexual ships ( romances ) in this evidence, in fact, different other shows like the Loud House which screams '' We are progressive look at us !!'', I like how they handled non hetero relationships in here. Hell I even ship Boxman and Dr. Venomous. And I'm non talking about the Helm Planet episode, which I love for old reminiscences of my childhood. I'm talking about the Let'due south Not Be Skeletons episode. I tin understand if you tell children to non play with guns, I similar that you prove children that it's not aberrant to be with someone of your own gender in a romantic relationship, but no, you don't go a free laissez passer to literally brainwash them in a dishonest way about guns. It's not really different from Peron or Fidel Castro's for child books where they teach the kids to love the leader. Let kids grow up and make up one's mind. I dunno if I'll keep watching the evidence later on this, if it has become this ....
In the terminate I kept watching it, and the evidence has distended itself from political propaganda lately. I like that. My favorite graphic symbol is TKO considering of the dissimilarity he makes with KO and other characters, and I'g impatient for the adjacent episode of KO'south World. My merely whine about the testify, is that KO is becoming a little too much like Steven from Steven Universe. Ko should be a unique character with his own ambitions driving him up, instead of become an hyper sensible kind of guy, specially if he'southward becoming an Hero. Hope his goal doesn't get lost for the sake of making him super empathetic with others but because that sells.
The testify has show that It can grow so I'chiliad rising the stars from 1 to 4, I only hope, or better to say I pray that something like Let's non Be Skeleton doesn't happen again, EVER.

Deceptively complex
Honestly, I take a great affection for the characters, none of them are actually flat, although watching a single episode might make you lot remember that. KO started out equally a cheerful child, which is often a child in real life, but matured throughout the series. We actually watched him grow. Likewise, Rad is obviously narcissistic; However, he'due south sensitive, but it does not cease up being a cliche, but a fairly accurate reflection of toxic masculinity, which he manages to put aside with the support of his friends. Finally, Enid manages to capture a typical teenage girl with the fear that the rest of her will meet her family unit (because she'due south ashamed of her heritage), her rebellion and her fondness for pop culture. They are really charismatic.
On the other hand, the villainous robots are a reflection of each other, which opens the possibility of exploring dissimilar contexts, considering that they are from different sides, and his father, Boxman, seems like the typical villain who hates friendship, just that doesn't makes him inhuman or meaningless. The globe presents villainy equally a professional person career and the man is just trying to make a living.
Finally, Professor Venomous, who is Boxman'due south romantic partner, is a very loving family man who enjoys torturing people. He's probably the nearly complex character. He totally hated himself! And his by was actually interesting (information technology's role of the mayor plot of the bear witness). His concrete change likewise, if yous look at him from a queer perspective
That leads me to say that the queer representation is also a very strong point of the evidence and at that place are about 15 queer characters confirmed past the author (amid them the already named villains, a robot and two of the protagonists). In that location are some that are not even on the wiki. And they really focused on giving prominence to poc characters, as well as those with disabilities.
I accept to acknowledge that it is not a program for everyone, the animation tin exist problematic (although the chaos is intentional) and the plot tries to remain low-cal, although I have come to warn that the ending is dramatic (and incredibly good) but it is genuinely funny and information technology's clear that the creator enjoyed do it. For being ane of my favorites, a x/10.
